I woke on my last juice fast day groggy again and feeling a bit swollen, like I’m retaining a lot of water. I must admit, I’m a bit disappointed by this, but I don’t know if this has anything to do with my fast. A bug seems to be working its way through our house. Jody brought it home from school, typical this time of year, and it’s been hopping from her to the baby to possibly Randy to me. I will say, though, that when the first bug of the new school year is brought home, everyone is much more effected by it. No one in the house seems to be all that sick so far. I better knock on wood again…
Juice fast day 9 – not so fine. I woke this morning feeling groggy with a mild headache. What gives? I didn’t feel so hot late last night, and whatever was bothering me must have followed me into this morning. It wasn’t anything big, but now that I’m used to waking up feeling like a million bucks, being groggy with a headache really stinks. Randy blames it on a forgoing the pizza reaction – whatever Randy. Like I’m some kind of pizza monster… He did say, though, that maybe something icky finally broke its way loose and was making me feel bad. Hmmm…?
Juice Fast day 8 is starting out with an argument. My appetite and I are batteling. Usually, I don’t wake hungry. I see my body fat has dropped a bit, though, and my leaner mass is up. It could be that my body is building some muscle – that’s what I’d like to guess anyway – why my appetite is hollering so early. Really, it could be anything. That’s why I don’t bother weighing myself everyday. Either way, I better find something soon to shut it up, or we’re liable to start swinging. Now, wouldn’t that be a sight!
